Why We Should Embrace The Imperfection

Posted on

How can we be our best self and embrace the imperfection? During the last few days I thought a lot about this question. That’s why I would like to write about this issue. Because recently I put so much pressure on myself to constantly strive toward perfection in my job, with my blog and even in my hobby the windsurfing.   And at the end, what’s the result? You often end up losing out on recognizing the small wins that you actually have throughout your day. That feeling of defeat lessens the ability to appreciate what is around you. Instead of spending your evenings decompressing, or making the time to spend with your loved ones, You are so focused on doing better tomorrow that you may rarely be entirely present (my boyfriend can confirm that). How to start a weekend in Paris?

Nothing Better Than To Start A Weekend In Paris Above The Roofs Of This City.   Finally the long-awaited weekend in Paris was around the corner. Since November, I was looking forward, like a small child, to this weekend. This trip was a birthday gift of my beloved boy, including tickets of the Depeche Mode concert (Stade De France). Paris is known for its fashion, but that doesn’t mean everyone is walking around in designer dresses. The best clothing for a summer trip to Paris is versatility. I bring clothes to mix and match, which is easily accomplished if you stick to a single color

Take Me To The Happy Place, where I can slow down a little bit

There is a happy place, where the doors are open, a beautiful place where the world stands still and give us something that remains in these fast times. Please, take me there, where the word you give me today is still valid for another day.         Bad stuff happening everywhere and with so many different forms of media available, we are provided day by day with the latest incidents faster than ever before. In a world where nothing seems safe, it’s almost impossible not to feel this grief, fear and anger, that is warranted when faced with the reality of what humans are capable of doing to other humans. I’m not qualified or even intelligent enough to be able to tell you how we can make any of this better in the world but I just wanted to share some thoughts.  We may have different religions, different languages or different
