Then check out the 10 styling tips, I have prepared for you.
Women with a V-body-shape usually have wide shoulders, big breast or a massive chest. In order to dress women with the V-body-shape favorably, the upper part of the body especially the shoulder and chest should be proportionally balanced. So it’s a good idea to add an equally clear vertical line to your strong horizontal shoulder line and to draws the eye at your pretty legs, hip, and buttocks. It works as follows:
No shoulder pads, no puff sleeves, no shoulder straps, no chest pockets. Even double-breasted blazers, and hoods are not favorable for you. At the shoulder and chest area stay discreet and close to the body.
For sleeves and necklines you should pay attention to the shapes. Advantageous are raglan sleeves, neckholder tops and sleeveless tops. In case of tank tops, the straps must be wide enough to divide the shoulder line proportionally correctly. Avoid spaghetti straps!
All necklines that divide your chest area into different zones. Vertical or diagonal lines are perfect for you. The v-neck, the waterfall, scarf or wrap neckline and the fine lapel collar are particularly favorable. But also the buttonhole line, tunica, the open shirt-blouse with its vertical lines or the one-shoulder-look with its diagonal division is suitable. In the case of bustier tops, the closure should never be horizontal straight. The smaller your bosom, the deeper the neckline the more beneficial your proportions are balanced.
A long upper body compensate broad shoulders. The easiest way to do this is by putting your waist slightly downward. Wear top, shirts, blouses to the hips or even longer. Also your skirts and pants should be located at the hips, No higwaist-cut.
Also use all the fashionable ways to put long, vertical lines on the upper body, which lead as deep as possible until the hip or thigh area. These include long button plackets, tucks, darts, long necklaces and scarves, center and vertically edgings, piping or something like this. Shirt dresses and wrap dresses are favorable as well.
Wear softly flowing fabrics on the upper body. Only softly flowing, thin to medium-heavy fabrics works good. Too thick fabrics or fabrics with too much stand is additionally bulky.
Use garments with voluminous elements only at the hip area or lower body to balance the focus on the upper body.
Pay attention to the correct color distribution at your outfit! Wear dark, dull colors at the upper body. At the lower body grab some pieces with bright, strong colors and eye-catching patterns.
Help yourself with a wide range of fashionable décor, accents with lace, sequins, embroidery, appliqués or eye-catching materials as well as patterned clothing pieces to draw attention to your slender lower body. It’s great for your body shape to accentuate the hemline of the blazer, jackets, coats, skirts or trousers, in order to direct the view downward to your narrow body zones and to give it more weight. Play with ruffles, drapings, frills and flounces or what you prefer. Important that you put highlights on your lower body.
