How to start a weekend in Paris?

Nothing Better Than To Start A Weekend In Paris Above The Roofs Of This City.   Finally the long-awaited weekend in Paris was around the corner. Since November, I was looking forward, like a small child, to this weekend. This trip was a birthday gift of my beloved boy, including tickets of the Depeche Mode concert (Stade De France). I was so excited when it finally started last Thursday with our early flight to Paris and luckily we arrived Paris early enough in the afternoon.   After our arrival at the Orly Airport in Paris we took the Metro and drove to the big train station “Gare Du Nord”. Our apartment, which we rented at Airbnb, was in the 9th district of Paris. It was only a 10 minutes walk from the train station “Gare Du Nord”.     The 9th district is one of the  20 arrondissements (neighborhoods) of Paris.

One big trend this summer is the floral kimono. Light and airy, kimonos are the perfect completer piece to throw on. If you walk into almost any store you will spotted one, or two, or three different kinds of kimonos on the racks.         Thats why today I would like to show you one of my favs summer outfits. I wore a floral kimono and my beloved straw hat, which you have already seen on my blog. I’m loving this spin on florals for summer, especially because you can keep the rest of your outfit simple and let the kimono make the statement. But take a look for yourself. Here is my fav floral kimono outfit:     These fotos are taken at my current place of residence, Pozo Izquierdo. The windiest place in Europe. Actually this day wasn’t so windy, but still enough to destroy my hair styling…  😆

How I Pack My Suitcase For A Weekend In Paris

Yeah…we gonna spend a weekend in Paris. So exited to travel with my love and to enjoy 4 days in this wonderful city inclusive Depeche Mode concert.      To make wise packing decisions, I need to know what the weather is going to be like this weekend in Paris. Paris is known for its fashion, but that doesn’t mean everyone is walking around in designer dresses. The best clothing for a summer trip to Paris is versatility. I bring clothes to mix and match, which is easily accomplished if you stick to a single color
