I can’t get enough of my short and airy playsuit. Playsuits are perfect to throw-on-and-go. Just layer a shirt over the playpsuit and you’re perfectly dressed. Depends of what kind of style you would like to create you can combine a playsuit with trainers, slides or even heels. When you take off the formal shirt, change to heels and take another handbag, you can wear this look for a night out as well.
I created my outfit, having in mind, to mix classic and casual styles, that will be suitable for an all day long appearances. I love playsuits because they are stylish yet relaxed. Playsuits in general are not very formal and allow me to feel comfortable without taking out the sophisticated style. On the other hand, the front tie shirt is pretty formal and classy, make me look elegant and fits perfect for taking lunch in a restaurant and afterwards having a refreshing stay at the beach.
In order to enjoy a little beach time after Saturdays shopping tour, I wore my pool slides and my bikini under the playsuit. As you can see on the pic below the slides are not the normal Adilette.
The sporty poolside slides or shower sandals from Adidas, which our Dads used to wear at holidays? First time they popped up again, after many years, was in 2014 and they had this great moments of mixing high end designer pieces with athletic items.
Comfort is the key and I like how easy they are to take on and off. Now a lot of designer use the the same shape of the Adilette in order to give the shower slides a different twist. Like my slides from Stradivarius. They have defenetly the same shape and material but with fancy embellishment. Get them and try out. And if it fails, you can always wear them in the shower… 😉
As jewelry I chose some golden necklaces and some cat eye shades. Always in order to keep the same color scheme for the all day summer look. When I create an outfit I always like to find a harmonic color scheme for the whole look. For this one I use in general a two tone color scheme like blue-red.
What to you think about my all day summer look with the pool sliders? Do you like it?
I’m locking foward to share next time the tutorial of my front tie shirt, because it’s so simple and everyone can do it, even those who are not talented in sewing.
See you soon!
