Then “Lavender” or “Lilac” is your new statement shade. In addition to being all over the Spring 2018 runways, the understated yet regal hue recently got the seal of approval. Pantone has chosen this color to one of the trend colors of the year 2018. I have already discovered some fashionistas in this wonderful, airy and bright shade. This spring 2018 trend color is perfect for a transitional winter-spring outfit, which I would like to share today.
Whether you prefer your lilac light and airy or deep, with more prominent purple tones, it’s an easy-to-put-on and neutral color that still reads edgy, especially when done in unusual materials like satin, chiffon or faux fur. It also looks great with a wide range of colors like emerald green, buttery yellow, safety orange, hot pink, dark purple, silver, etc. Plus, it’s a solid compromise for purple enthusiasts not yet ready to take on ultra-loud ultraviolet.
As I mentioned, lilac showed up on a dizzying number of Spring 2018 runways. Worn like head-to-toe in form of complete pantsuits or floaty evening dresses.
I styled the spring 2018 trend color with a wonderful lilac colored woolen coat to a transitanal winter-spring outfit. The lilac coat I combined with a creme colored woolen and oversized jumper, grey suit pants and my lilac colored Vans. With the cross shoulder hand bag I wanted to set another color. That’s why I chose an orange colored bag. The color shades looks so fresh and airy, what I really love because it reminds me of spring.
I’m so into this spring 2018 trend color lilac, that I already have some lilac colored pieces in my wardrobe. Because the color is extremely suitable for me and my skin tone. It allows me to light up the natural pigmentation of my skin, through the clothes I wear, which gives my skin tone a harmonious color balance. Mauves, grays, light-blues, violets, pinks! These pretty tones can be far too soft for many people but I need this gentleness otherwise my delicate natural skin color could be overpowered and doesn’t seem harmoniously.
What do you think? Do you like the lilac-lavender-purple spring 2018 trend color? Let me know and leave a comment below.
Have a nice Sunday eve!
