The change of season is once again just around the corner. Incredible how time flys!!!
So again it’s time to get our wardrobes ready for Fall. I haven’t started yet. But slowly it’s time to bring out the autumn garments from far back of our wardrobe to check what can be combined by the already existing pieces with the new trend pieces of Fall 2017.
But do you already know what’s fashionable for this fall season? No…? Me neither. That’s why I’ve researched for us and I found some really cool pieces. So I prepared a Fall 2017 trend report.
Here’s a roundup of the biggest fall trends 2017 and which pieces are really worth the investment:
Better be prepared! Because this Fall is going to be bold! The fall trend colours will definitely be Scarlet Red, Grenadine & Millennium Pink. If you prefer more subtle shades then go with metallic (silver it is!), navy or burgundy. I might have to try something red though.
It’s the season of all things checkered. If you haven’t got your hands on a checked blazer or a coat yet – now is the time! Also trendy are pearls (attached to the clothes) faux, ruffles, brocade.
The fall materials are definitely corduroy and velvet. While corduroy can be quite tricky to style because it could add some extra kilos, velvet is wonderfully fluid and great to mix and match with leather and cotton. Another fabric this Fall is glossy Vinyl, which looks great with checked pieces. Classic materials like and denim are also here to stay.
Seems like this Fall is all about eyecatching footwear.
But there is one shoe to rule them all: Sock Boots.
What started with Balenciaga’s Knife Boots or Fendi’s Stocking Pumps has quickly turned into a mega shoe trend. Also trendy this season are white boots, overtness, slingbacks, velvet shoes.
All in all this season is very much inspiried by the 70’s (corduroy, velvet) and 90’s (vinyl, pearls, check). If you want to jump on the trendy train you should definitely invest in one of the following pieces or check out during your wardrobe inventory if you find something like that in your existing wardrobe:
