Everyone has at least one plain T-Shirt in their closet. Probably more. Because you likely stock up on them when they’re on sale just to have because you know you’ll end up wearing it all of the time. Yes, we are talking about the plain t-shirt.
Similar to white tees, this beige/brown tee is a mandatory wardrobe staple that you can pair with just about anything, and I really mean anything. Whether you’re going for a more casual look by pairing your plain t-shirt with a pair of jeans, a blazer and heels or you want to wear it at work with a chino pants and sneakers, there is a way to style a plain t-shirt for just about any occasion.
So today I prepared four different ways to show how to style a plain t-shirt. You might as well get some outfits out of it!
It’s a casual boho-look with fedora hat, Dad´s glasses, short denim, Birkenstocks and a suede shoulder bag.
It’s a more formal look. I almost used the same pieces, just changed the glasses into sunglasses, removed the hat, added a blazer and changed the Birkenstock into some comfy heels.
Depends on where you work or what is your Job this is a great working outfit. For me as Fashion Stylist is this the right outfit when I work on set during a movie or photo production. Because on set you always need comfy outfits with flat shoes. So I removed the Blazer and just changed the shorts into long chino pants and sneakers.
Because of the length it’s possible to wear this plain T-Shirt as a dress. I just took off the pants and paired with a light blue mens shirt and my old school Vans. Love this comfy outfit. It’s just right for an everyday-feel-good-Look at home.
For sure you already have noticed that I used in all of them the same color scheme. Blue and Brown. It’s funny because actually it wasn’t my intention.
Which one of the four outfits do you like and do you have a favorite way to style your own plain tee-shirt? Try to style you own one into various outfits. For sure you will find more combos like me.
Afterwards, if you like, you can share your experiences and ideas in the comments!
Have a nice evening!
